Some aspects of INCREASING THE region competitiveness through implementation of the innovatiON model of development

The article is devoted to the region’s competitiveness and innovations in the Russian regions aimed at improvement of competitiveness of the territory. The author determines the link between formation of eco-economic cluster being formed at the regional level and the competitiveness of the region. The trends of development of integrated forms of management in the region are defined in the article. The author pays attention to the issues that reflect the influence of different forms and types of integration on economic growth, sustainability of economic development, competitiveness of the products, as well as institutional and infrastructural aspects of the economic systems development. The author also studies the aspects of harmonization of industrial and trade policies with regards to the social, ecological and economic security of the region.
