| Annotation: | The article deals with application of the participatory mechanism while arranging the interaction of the public authority with the population. Specific consideration of participatory orientation of public administration in the spectrum of economic research is justified. The author used a system approach in the study of participatory mechanism’s functioning and focused on the system-elemental, system-structural, system-integration, system-target and system-functional aspects. From the position of each of the authors’ of interaction the effectiveness of public administration through the operation of a participatory mechanism is identified. |
