Foreign experience of ensuring power supply reliability

The article deals with the foreign electricity reliability mechanisms: public control, standards, incentives schemes and quality contracts. The author gives examples of implementation of these schemes in the European countries and the United States. Foreign experience is compared with the Russia control methods of power supply reliability, which are currently used and those planned in the Strategy of development of the RF electric grid complex. Conclusions regarding the possibility of solving the above problems through the use of the advanced world experience are made.
