Analysis of distribution of demand for mobile applications in russia

The distribution of demand for mobile applications in Russia is examined in the scientific article. Economic studies devoted to the analysis of the feature distribution use normal distribution, as a rule. The latter corresponds to the nature of the number of phenomena; however, it is not typical to several economic phenomena. The authors have substantiated the nature of distribution of the feature under consideration that differs from the normal on based on the results of the initiative empirical studies of the distribution of demand for mobile applications in Russia. The hypothesis of normality of the distribution of demand for mobile application in Russia was rejected. The authors revealed the nature of distribution, which corresponds to the theoretical law of the Poisson distribution.
