Current status of childhood as a factor forming reproduction of human resources in volgograd region

The article analyzes the current state of childhood in Volgograd region in order to determine the qualitative content of human resources. The dynamics of the family ill-being is defined; the number of crimes committed against minors is determined. The annual increase of the number of parents evading their duties, abusing alcohol and drugs, conducting immoral way of life, demonstrating cruelty and violence towards children is analyzed. Statistical data proving that the number of identified and recorded children left without parental care, as well as the homeless and neglected minors is still threatening for formation of high-quality human resources, is examined.
