Specificity of formation of the regional structure for tourism management

The article examines the system of interaction between the management authorities of the tourism industry at various levels. Directions of the strategy of using the tourist-recreational potential of Volgograd region were identified. The goals of improvement of the regional management of the tourism were determined, as well as the set of measures aimed at development of the tourist infrastructure, promotion of Volgograd region as the tourist direction, increase of the tourist and relevant services quality, improvement of the regional legislation. Potential sources of financing of the tourism industry were studied. The necessity of establishing the attractiveness of the tourist resources for potential investors was underlined; and their orientation on the targeted priorities of the tourist areas development depending on the sources of financing.
