The article examines the methodical and practical aspects of protection of the ecological human rights at the regional level within the frame of such organizations as the Council of Europe, the Organization of American States and the African Union. Methodical and organizational approaches to protection of ecological rights in various regional systems of the human right protection are substantiated. The specific features of different regional systems of the human rights protection are determined in relation to the protection of environmental rights. The special attention is paid to the precedent practice of the regional human rights authorities (courts and commissions): European Court of Human Rights, the African Commission on Human and Peoples Rights, and the Inter-American Court and Commission of Human Rights. |
