Annotation:

The article highlights the current status of the Israelioccupied Palestinian territories focusing on the specifics of the legal status of the Gaza Strip. The applicable principles and rules of the international humanitarian law in the occupied Palestinian territories (including Gaza) are analyzed; the cases of their violation by Israel are identified. The author made conclusion about necessity of development of application to the International Criminal Court for recovery of justice in the Middle East. The international legal status of the State of Palestine is revealed in the article. Particular emphasis is made on the analysis of the consequences of joining by the State of Palestine to a number of international agreements in the field of the international humanitarian law in spring of 2014.
