JUSTIFICATION OF PROCESSING OF THE FERROUS METALS SCRAP IN RUSSIA USING ELECTRIC SMELTING FURNACES

| Annotation: | The article examines ensuring steel-making facilities with material resources in the conditions of the economic crisis. Efficiency of the developed mechanism of material security is studied. Expediency of scrap processing in the Russian conditions is analyzed and justified, as well as expediency of expansion of capacities for scrap processing, including the integrated miniplants in regions of Russia atypical for metallurgy, for the purpose of deep processing of the scrap stock, ensuring growth of industrial production and the regions demands for own rolled stock. Data of production and consumption of the finished rolled stock of ferrous metals in Russia are provided, including the forecast for 2-16-2017. |
