| Annotation: | The article examines the problems and prospects of functioning of the steel-works in the conditions of economic crisis. Comparative analysis of the state of Russian and foreign enterprises of steel industry is conducted; common factors and features of activities, and main competitors are revealed. The key terms of development of the Russian metallurgy in conjunction with the state investments in the military-industrial complex and construction are studied. A brief forecast of future economic development of metallurgical branch is presented. In the absence of comprehensive state program for supporting metallurgy, the measures ensuring improvement of the situation in this sector of economics are proposed. |
