Annotation:

The article substantiates the urgency of studying the problems of application of modern methods of estimation of efficiency of enterprise activity. Brief analysis is conducted and features of the most common evaluation methods are highlighted: Balanced Scorecard (BSC), the concept of total quality management (TQM), SWOT-analysis, the French technique of diagnostics of the enterprise. One of the solutions of the problem of total assessment of the company effectiveness is the use of benchmarking. The article presents classification and the main trends of benchmarking use for the key business processes. The main problems and disadvantages of its use at Russian enterprises are examined.
