ANALYSIS OF THE CARGO CULT EFFECT ON THE QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM EFFECTIVENESS

Annotation:	The article examines the concept of cargo cult initially introduced as an anthropological term and further spread in the number of sciences, for example, in the economics. This phenomenon is analyzed as a whole in the management systems and particularly in the quality management systems. The causes and consequences of this phenomenon in the process of arrangement, development, implementation, internal audits and management reviews of the quality management systems are revealed. The interaction between the concept of cargo-cult and the concept of «Muda» introduced by the Japanese researchers is established. Recommendations for continuous reduction of the cargo cult in the quality management system are proposed.
