| Annotation: | The article analyzes the main foreign economic aspects of the Great Britain membership in the Commonwealth of Nations — the voluntary association of the countries that includes the former British Empire colonies and dominions. Despite the enduring history of this union, achievements in strengthening the bilateral relations of the member countries, currently the controversial statements are made about the future of the Commonwealth, as well as about the prospects of membership of the former metropolis. This issue has become especially topical in the context of Brexit referendum. |
