ASSESSING ENTERPRISES IN TERMS OF THE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY OF BUSINESS-STRUCTURES

The article investigates the following issue: can a successful, active policy in the field of social responsibility of businessstructures (hereinafter the SRB) and sustainable development have an impact on increasing capitalization of the company, and what is the level of Saratov region companies’ development in the field of SRB. The author notices that Russian companies are not represented in the results of the sustainable development indices, which, in her opinion, is due to the low level of policy development in the field of SRB. Analyzing the Saratov region, the author concludes that in the region there is a conceptual disorientation of CEOs, which comes from the lack of understanding or misunderstanding of the meaning of «social responsibility of business-structures».
