| Annotation: | In the modern ever-changing political and economic situation CIS countries face a chronic problem of catching up with developed countries in terms of innovation development. Therefore, CIS cannot compete with leading world powers on the market of innovative goods and services. Choosing a course for building common innovation space, the CIS countries approved the Intergovernmental program of innovative cooperation for the period till 2020. This Program will significantly improve the competitiveness of the economies of the region. The article gives analysis of the actual problems of innovative development in CIS, as well as defines proposals for improvement of existing funding mechanisms of the intergovernmental innovation projects in the region. |
