ENERGY SAVING AT THE POWER GRID ENTERPRISE

The article discusses the topical issue of energy saving at the power grid company. The emphasis is made on the own needs of the enterprise. Definition of the basic concepts of «energy conservation», «energy efficiency» is given; the characteristics of the enterprise as a consumer of energy id provided; the dynamics and structure of consumption of thermal and electric energy is examined; the measures for reducing consumption of electric and thermal energy for own needs of the power grid enterprises are developed. Economic justification is presented for all developed measures; the costs are calculated, and the payback period is defined. The system of priorities for the implementation of energy saving measures in the conditions of limited budget is proposed.
