| Annotation: | The article discusses the conceptual foundations of the theory of human development. The evolution of ideas about the nature of «human potential» are analyzed in the relevant historical stages of development of scientific schools in the field of economics. The paper presents the consideration of human potential through the prism of its impact on improving the quality of life and ensuring the re-industrialization of the regional economy. Human potential is regarded as one of the most important conditions for effective re-industrialization of the region as the Foundation for the development of industry as one of the most important factors in ensuring effective economic growth. |
