THE PROBLEM OF TRUST IN MONEY: A DISCUSSION ASPECT

| Annotation: | The article analyzes trust in money as a key condition of economic exchange. The article explores the value trust in money during different evolutionary periods of institute of money. It is dealt with two antagonistic theoretical approaches to the problem of trust in money. It is analyzed economic consequences of decrease of trust in national currency on the example of economic and political events of recent decades in the Russian Federation. Based on made analysis it is proposed the hierarchy of levels of trust in basic socio-economic institutions which, as a consequence, determines the trust in money in society. |
