LEGAL PERSONS OF PRIVATE AND PUBLIC LAW IN BUSINESS AND SOME OTHER ECONOMIC RELATIONS

The terms «legal person of private law» and «legal hgtrson person of public law» are contained in some constitutions and in foreign legislation. The Russian legislation does not distinguish these two types of entities, but the general term «legal person» is used not only in relation to organizations of private law, but also to many public associations and state authorities (for example, the latters are the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation and the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation). The article distinguishes between business and economic relations of other kind, shows features of the participation of legal entities of public law in some civil matters (but not in business). The article points out the inconsistency of the Russian CiviI Code with public-law legislation.
