INCREASING COMPETITIVENESS OF EDUCATIONAL SERVICES BASED ON IMPROVEMENT OF PROFESSIONAL PROGRAMS OF RETRAINING OF SPECIALISTS IN THE UNIVERSITY

The article examines the problem of increasing competitiveness of educational services in the system of additional vocational education. The special role of professional retraining of specialists in the context of the modern requirements to effective management, including educational organizations, was noted. The comparative characteristic of non‑technical directions of vocational training and retraining of specialists in universities of Novosibirsk is given. The aim of the study is to identify the compliance of the programs of professional retraining of specialists in Novosibirsk state technical University, the requirements of the educational standard. The author analyzes educational programs for training specialists as a means of forming competencies necessary for development of new activities and solving more complex problems. The article presents a model for evaluating the effectiveness of training, which is aimed at improving approaches to planning and development of training programs of specialists in the system of additional education. The article reviews the points of view of researchers in the field of educational process on the need to assess the practical application of the knowledge (competencies) in various fields of activity. The results of evaluation of the level of customer satisfaction with the programs of retraining at the Institute of additional professional education of Novosibirsk state technical University are presented. Recommendations are provided for development of the organizational and methodical tools for improving the implemented training programs in the system of additional education in order to enhance their competitiveness. Recommendations are developed on the basis of the information received in the course of interviewing and questioning of the trainees studying on the programs at Novosibirsk state technical University. The opinion is expressed on the possibility of applying the results of the study in the process of training students in the system of additional professional education of higher education.
