Currently, the concept of “rendering services as an object of entrepreneurial activity” is insufficiently studied by means of the civil science, which prevents the implementation by business participants of their civil rights and creates problems in this area. On the basis of a comprehensive analysis, the author defines rendering services as the process of committing by business entities (service providers) of the actions (activities) that benefit other persons (service recipients) aimed at achieving a beneficial effect that does not have a material result or absorbs it, inseparable from the service provider and pursuing its goal of regular profit. On the basis of the formulated definition, the legal properties of rendering services are revealed, allowing to distinguish them from other objects and to determine the place of the studied object in the system of entrepreneurial activity. The essence of the category “turnover” as provided by the law to the business entity (service provider) the opportunity manifested in his skills and abilities to carry out a complete cycle of actions that do not have a material result and are not separated from the service provider, which benefit the service recipient in the process of their provision. The author identifies the criteria of turnover in relation to the process of providing the studied services, the account of which allows the subjects to exercise their right to engage in entrepreneurial activity within the rights granted by the law. The classification of services as an object of entrepreneurial activity is developed and the characteristic of its separate bases is given. This approach allows business participants (customer and service provider) to choose those types of services that are most likely will lead to a beneficial effect of their provision in accordance with the needs of individuals and legal entities. |
