Modern computer‑software technologies, neurotechnologies, biotechnologies, robot technology continue to develop very rapidly, very intensively. One of the most promising, potentially applicable in many spheres of the social relations and already used in a number of spheres and at the same time the most ambiguous technologies is the technologies of the artificial intelligence. Artificial intelligence is otherwise referred to as “machine intelligence”, “intelligent machine”, “thinking machine”, “digital creature”. Accordingly, the artificial intelligence carrier (system, object, device, and agent) will be hereinafter referred to as an artificial intelligence unit. The ability of a person to create works of art and experience pleasure from their contemplation has evolved over the course of many and many centuries, from the most primitive forms; the machines will also evolve, only much faster. The emergence of machines that create art is possible. We believe that thinking machines will think on their own. Grow, expand is in the nature of both the mind and knowledge itself. Like us, the thinking machines that we create will be ambitious, hungry for strength and power ‑ both physical and computational, but it is better for us to dissect what is hidden in the shadow of evolution. Our thinking machines will be smarter than we, and the machines that they will develop — even smarter. We have long been creating ambitious semiautonomous structures: governments, corporations, non‑governmental organizations. Technologies of artificial intelligence are already actively used today for carrying out research and development work in various fields. With the help of artificial intelligence technologies and units, more and more scientific discoveries are being made and new inventions are being created. New complex and very rapidly emerging and evolving challenges of the present, such as the transformation and complexity of the heterogeneity and entropy of the Internet space, the intensive development of robotics, technologies and artificial intelligence units, cannot help reflecting on the state and development of legislation in various fields of social relations. One of these areas, which require close scientific attention, is the scope of intellectual property. Despite the fact that there are many scientific developments in this field, researchers note that there is still no universally accepted (universally recognized, conventionally recognized by all theorists and practicing specialists) universal exhaustively clear and unambiguous definition of the term “artificial intelligence”.
