CONTENT OF COMPONENTS OF ETHNOCULTURAL QUALITIES OF PERSONALITY OF FUTURE TEACHERS

Annotation:

The article discusses the formation of ethnocultural qualities of the personality of future teachers in the context of professionally significant quality. It is determined that the ethnocultural qualities of a person are characterized by the presence of ideas about the essence of ethnoculture, ethnic communities; the ability to self‑determination and identification based on the knowledge of ethnic culture; readiness for the development of ethnocultural values, for the dialogue of cultures of other ethnic groups; ability to self‑actualization and self‑realization in practical activities in the field of ethnocultural education. A psychological and pedagogical analysis of the scientific literature on the research was carried out, during which the structural components of the ethnocultural qualities of the personality of future teachers were identified, including the emotional, cognitive, value‑motivational, and reflective component. Indicators of the concept of ethnocultural qualities and its diagnostic tools are defined. At a ascertaining stage of the study, the initial levels of ethnocultural qualities of the students’ personality were determined. Based on the analysis of the results of the ascertaining stage of the study, the author comes to the conclusion that it is necessary to identify pedagogical conditions and develop a model for the formation of ethnocultural qualities of students’ personalities. The novelty of this problem lies in its little knowledge and requires further research: the definition and implementation of pedagogical conditions for the formation of ethnocultural qualities of future teachers.
