TOOLS FOR IMPROVING INVOLVEMENT OF THE EMPLOYEES OF THE HOUSING AND COMMUNAL SERVICES ENTERPRISES

Annotation:

The article is devoted to selection of the most effective tools for increasing staff involvement at the enterprises of the housing and utilities services. The methodological basis of the study is a set of theoretical, methodological and practical issues related to involvement of the personnel working in the housing and communal services. The information and empirical base of the research was formed on the basis of official data of enterprises of the housing and communal services of the Nizhny Novgorod region: «Management House — Center» Ltd., «DUK» Ltd.; as well as on the statistical data from analytical centers. The solution of the tasks set in the study was carried out using a systematic approach, methods and instrumental technologies of scientific research, including tabular and graphical data processing techniques. The author justifies the need to use primarily tools to increase engagement, affecting time savings and increasing employee awareness. The study substantiates the use of the following tools: common information space; selection for admission to work; understanding of the corporate value system and company goals; employee participation in decision making; regular feedback to management; promotion of the social importance of the company’s products or services; change of activities; flexible working conditions. Reasonable tools to increase the involvement of employees of enterprises of housing and communal services have theoretical and practical importance in improving the management of the housing and utilities sector. Practical significance lies in the fact that the proposed tools can be used as typical for other enterprises of the housing and utilities sector, which reduces the cost of implementing the strategic objectives for shaping the corporate culture of the enterprise and increases the efficiency of implementation of the company’s strategy.
