Lean production is a modern economic tool that allows optimizing processes at the enterprise. As a result of an integrated approach, this system allows you to change the production, making it as focused on market conditions with minimal losses for the company. Therefore, in recent decades, enterprises both in Russia and in other countries are actively implementing lean production. The use of this system allows reducing the cost of production, reducing the lead time of orders and increasing the turnover of capital. As a result, market indicators are changing for the better: customer satisfaction in the products is increased, the manageability of production processes is improved. The research in the article is carried out on the example of the Nizhny Novgorod region. The article deals with the basic principles of lean production at industrial enterprises the analysis of indicators of production companies of the Nizhny Novgorod region in recent years. In addition, examples are given of losses that can be affected by the introduction of lean production, for example, losses associated with overproduction, waiting, defects and transportation. The authors give an example of enterprises of Nizhny Novgorod region, which were able to improve production performance after the introduction of lean manufacturing. Particular attention is paid to the fact that this system in the Nizhny Novgorod region is implemented mainly only in industrial enterprises, the article highlights the problems that cause difficulty to do it in companies in other sectors of the economy. The authors give recommendations that allow more effective implementation of lean production. This may allow companies to use individual elements of the system more efficiently. |
