CREATIVITY — THE MAIN COMPONENT OF DEVELOPMENT OF THE TOURISM INDUSTRY AT THE PRESENT STAGE?

Annotation:

Domestic and entry tourism in our country is considered one of the priorities in the process of formation of the national economy, but the situation is complicated by the variation of their development plans, and therefore by the difficulty in determining exactly what finances should be directed at. Problems with the validity of funding for certain activities and programs significantly reduce the already small growth of domestic and entry tourist flows. Accordingly, there is a need to identify the most appropriate items of financing for the development of the tourist industry in the country, and in this aspect, the field of study has chosen the creativity of the tourism industry. The scientific article considers the main approaches to the definition of the term «creative tourism industry», and identifies common features of interpretations through comparative analysis. The comparative analysis allowed the authors to identify the most important elements and aspects of the term. The article draws conclusions on the expediency of financing the processes of creating significant intangible cultural objects as the foundation for the development of the creative tourism industry. In order to prove the importance of creativity in tourism, the authors conducted a correlation analysis between the financing of creativity and the growth of the entry tourist flow to a number of States, which showed a strong degree of direct linear dependence between indicators. The study allowed the authors to build a model for the formation of a creative tourism industry in the country, and to form a number of recommendations for the development of a creative component in the tourism industry.
