Nowadays, the accelerated and sustainable economic development based on new industrialization is of the vital importance; however, the strategic tasks of the socio‑economic and breakthrough technological development, as well as increases of the level and quality of life of the citizens of Russia, are not properly executed. Civil society lacks the trust in authorities of all branches and all levels due to the repeated and numerous corruption crimes, negligent and unprofessional attitude of officials, as well as the inefficient actions of the federal, regional and municipal authorities. The imposition, constant extension, and tightening of the international economic sanctions, as well as the regular promotion of political Russophobia create discrimination of Russia and its citizens unprecedented in world history, which, in fact, is the unfair international competition in the social and economic spheres of life. Along with the external tense situation, domestic Russian manifestations of unfair competition are exacerbated, including, but not limited to, criminal and informational sabotage, budget fraud, corruption in supervisory, judicial, security, criminal repressive bodies, political circles and the higher echelons of authorities. From the economic point of view, manifestations of unfair competition require a fundamental improvement in forecasting methodology, planning, development of methodological tools for prevention, precaution and counteraction the full range of associated risks, threats and possible losses and damages, in order to ensure Russia’s strategic development and technological breakthrough of industry and ‑ above all others ‑ the socio‑economic improvement of the quality and standards of the citizens’ living. |
