PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS FOR FORMING READINESS FOR BUSINESS COMMUNICATION OF FUTURE TECHNOLOGY TEACHERS IN INNOVATIVE PROJECT ACTIVITIES

Annotation:

The article examines the conditionality of updating the content and teaching methods of the subject area “Technology” by the need to develop the innovative sector of the economy to ensure a competitive scientific and technological reserve of the country. The lost link between technology education and the production enterprise is highlighted as an area for updating the content and methods of teaching in technology education. The connection between technological education and the innovative sector of the economy is substantiated. The need for the formation of students’ readiness for business communication in the context of the modernization of technological education is given. The concept of “business communication” is defined. The experience of the Center for Youth Innovative Creativity “Perspektiva” in the complex solution of these problems is presented. The problem of the unpreparedness of future technology teachers for business communication in the framework of the implementation of innovative project activities based on practical experience is highlighted. The studies are presented, confirming the validity and relevance of the need for the formation of readiness for business communication among students. The existing approaches to the formation of readiness for business communication are presented. The possibilities and specifics of the educational environment of the subject area “Technology” are analyzed. On the basis of the identified specifics, the following pedagogical conditions that ensure the effectiveness of the formation of readiness for business communication of future teachers of technology are identified: maximum approximation of the process of formation of readiness for business communication to real life situations through the use of the potential of work on an innovative project, reliance on collective forms of work, the allocation of a creative technological environment as a backbone component of the formation of readiness for business communication, the integrative nature of the stages of formation of readiness for business communication of future technology teachers. Examples of the implementation of these pedagogical conditions in the process of professional training of future technology teachers in the higher education system are given.
