MODERN TRACKS OF TEACHERS’S CONTINUING EDUCATION DEVELOPMENT

Annotation:

The article presents the results of a study of modern tracks in additional education for teachers. Dynamic shifts both in the educational environment and technologies, and in the characteristics of students, which have a significant impact on the learning process and its effectiveness, lead to the need to update the profes problem field of modern general education were determined at the theoretical stage of the study, taking into account international experience and became the information basis for the development of a questionnaire survey toolkit for teachers of general educational organizations of the Stavropol Territory. Among the topical problems are highlighted: lack of cognitive interest among schoolchildren; high workload of the teacher with work processes in the general education, associated with formal reporting; shortage of teachers; difficulties in interacting with parents, colleagues and students; lack of technical capabilities for the widespread use of digital technologies among students and schools; low satisfaction of teachers with working conditions in educational institutions; the difficulties of restructuring teaching methods in the context of digitalization; changes in important characteristics of the student population; lack of knowledge of applied psychological techniques. The survey, conducted in September 2021, was attended by 117 teachers of different age categories and work experience in schools, gymnasiums and lyceums. 14 problems were assessed by experts on a 10-point scale and, based on factor analysis in the SPSS statistical package (version 21), showed the development tracks of additional education for teachers: development of instrumental skills in building a social architecture of interactions between parties interested in positive qualitative results of the educational process; building up diagnostic competencies in the socio-psychological block, developing methodological techniques of pedagogical activity in a changing reality; meeting the demand for qualitative systemic changes in the material and technical conditions of the educational process as a key stage in the reproduction of social relations, the system of values, the basis of the life goal-setting of new generations. The built models that define the landscape of the problem field of everyday educational practices of general education teachers show the areas for proposing additional educational programs in the regional education system.
