IMPROVING THE PRICING PROCESSES IN THE ENERGY SECTOR OF THE REGION AND WAYS TO CHALLENGE THE DECISIONS OF REGIONAL AUTHORITIES IN THE FIELD OF STATE REGULATION OF PRICES (TARIFFS)

In the article, the authors describe the existing problem of pricing in the energy sector of the region and reveal the features of existing methods of challenging the decisions of regional authorities in the field of state regulation of prices (tariffs) and their distinctive features. At the moment, the problem of pricing in the energy industry is a key one and causes many contradictions. In addition, the work formulates the concept of pricing and highlights the peculiarities of the energy industry in the region, taking into account the fact that it is a special economic zone. The purpose of this study is not only to form a set of proposals for improving the pricing processes in the energy sector of the region, but also ways to challenge the decisions of regional authorities in the field of state regulation of prices (tariffs). Also, the paper analyzes the impact of existing legislation, the peculiarities of the economy and other factors affecting the pricing process. It is important to note that the paper reveals the peculiarity of state regulation of prices (tariffs) for certain types of services (goods) in the energy industry. The article reveals the consequences of a successful challenge, and considers the possibility of compensation for damage at the expense of the budget system of the subject of the federation. Scientific novelty of the study lies in the assessment of methods of challenge, taking into account the actual statistics of tariff disputes in different instances. As a result of the research, a proposal is formed to improve the pricing processes in the energy sector of the region and ways to challenge the decisions of regional authorities in the field of state regulation of prices (tariffs).
