Annotation:

The article examines the theoretical aspect of the problem of studying the cognitive and activity component of the training of future speech therapists for the use of information and communication technologies in the school speech therapy center, as well as the results of an empirical study conducted within the framework of the study of knowledge, skills and abilities of future specialists. The analysis of the basic provisions of the training of future speech therapists is carried out, which is reflected in the regulatory framework and scientific works of researchers dealing with this issue. The cognitive and activity components of the training of future specialists, their essential specificity and interrelation in the Russian literature are analyzed separately. The results of the ascertaining and control experiment conducted with 69 students of 1—4 years of the profile “Speech Therapy” studying at the Department of special (defectological) education are presented. The empirical research was carried out within the framework of practical and laboratory classes, the knowledge, skills and abilities of students were evaluated before the start of the experiment and after the introduction of the developed pedagogical conditions for the training of future speech therapists on the basis of dissertation research. The list of pedagogical conditions that served as the subject of the study is given. These conditions were the result of a comprehensive process of training future specialists, focusing on the practical and theoretical aspect of training. The analysis of the results of the study showed a positive dynamics of the formation of the cognitive and activity component of the training of future speech therapists after the introduction of the developed conditions. The article considers the specific professional and personal characteristics of future speech therapy teachers, which caused an increase in the level of formation of the cognitive and activity component of training. The ways and directions of the formation of future specialists are analyzed based on their active, creative position, which was the result of the introduction of the developed pedagogical conditions into the educational process.
