This paper examines the place of special professional competences in the general competence model of a logistics manager, which is due to the need to identify the profile «Logistics» in the general direction «Management». The methodology for the formation of special professional competences of logistics managers is based on a cross comparison of the labor functions of professional standards in certain areas of logistics and professional tasks, which are determined on the basis of the requirements of the labor market. Adjustment and addition of labor functions of professional standards is dictated by the rapid development of logistics as a field of activity. By grouping labor functions on the basis of commonality, the types of special professional competences of logistics managers are determined: organizational, analytical, normative and control, information and program. The special organizational competence of logistics managers is understood as the ability and readiness to fulfill tasks of an organizational nature using special (logistic) methods and methods of influencing the control object in the process of performing professional activities. Concretizing the information competence of logistics managers at a special professional level, analytical abilities, knowledge and skills to use analytical tools of management in general and logistics in particular, we refer to the special analytical competence, while knowledge and skills to work with specialized software to the information-software competence of a manager-logistician. Regulatory and control competence refers to the ability to organize and exercise control over logistics operations in accordance with the requirements of regulatory documentation. The article also reveals the functional structure of the special professional competences of logistics managers, which is characterized by cognitive-activity, value-motivational and personal components. In accordance with the identified components of the structure of special professional competences of logistics managers, the selection of means and methods of pedagogical influence in the process of training logisticians in higher education should be carried out. |
