The choice of topic is due to the orientation of modern educational policy in Russia to strengthen the role of the educational process in the moral education of students and the lack of knowledge of the regional aspect of school education in the 1920s. The purpose of the study is to identify and analyze the content, principles, forms and methods of the educational process in the Soviet school of Prienisey Siberia in the 1920s in the context of the moral education of students. Archival materials, publications of periodicals reflecting the activities of schools, documents of the People’s Commissariat of Education and the Siberian Department of Public Education, dissertation studies were used as initial data. As methods — a method of studying diverse historical and pedagogical sources, a method of abstraction, a method of historical periodization. The study showed that the organization of the educational process at the school of Prienisey Siberia in the 1920s was aimed at updating its moral aspect, which was expressed in strengthening the moral-communist content of curricula, disseminating the principles of collectivism and conscious discipline, using new (interschool student conferences, socialist competition method) and rethinking pre-revolutionary forms and methods (excursion method, extracurricular work). Interscholastic student conferences, socialist competition and excursion method turned out to be effective Extracurricular work and the principle of collectivism have become widespread. The principle of conscious discipline has shown insufficient effectiveness. The educational value of the curricula was not fully realized. Analysis of the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process of schools in Prienisey Siberia in the 1920s makes it possible to distinguish several stages of updating its moral aspect: 1) rethinking the moral aspect in the organization of the educational process (1920—1923); 2) strengthening the moral-communist content of the educational process (1924—1927); 3) intensifying the struggle for the moral education of schoolchildren (1928—1931). The results obtained can be used in the development of special courses of regional historical and pedagogical orientation, as well as rethought and taken into account when organizing the educational process in a modern school. |
