The article analyzes the importance of continuous development of general education school principals, outlines the level of research on the problem. The continuous growth of managerial professionalism is associated with an increase in the quality of Russian education. The resources of non-formal education, providing training of managers in conditions of high professional load and multitasking, are revealed. The aim of the work, which implies a description of the pedagogical possibilities of non-formal learning of heads of general educational organizations, is set. The tasks, scientific novelty and practical significance of the study are highlighted. A review of scientific publications confirming the pedagogical possibilities of non-formal education of school managers is carried out. The methodological basis of the research is the position of A. M. Novikov on the need to improve each person throughout his life and create conditions for his continuing education. The possibilities of distance and full-time forms of training educational specialists are indicated. Three options for non-formal education of managers in education are offered: network professional communities, non-formal mentoring, and professional competitions. Examples of network professional communities for school managers, ways of implementation of non-formal mentoring and professional competitions are given. They collectively have great pedagogical capabilities, namely: provide rapid receipt of necessary information, point solutions to management problems; the possibility of consulting support; getting an assessment of professional experts; training managers without a significant break from work. The conclusion about the need to apply the proposed solutions in the intra-organizational training of managers and in institutions of professional development of educators is made. The prospects for further studies related to the search for other effective options for non-formal education of school leaders are identified |
