PROSECUTOR’S ACTIVITIES TO EXPOSE VIOLATIONS OF LABOR RIGHTS OF CITIZENS

The article analyzes the organization of information and analytical work of the prosecutor to expose violations of the labor rights of citizens. Ensuring the observance of the labor rights of citizens is an important condition for social stability, since wages are the main source of income for most of the population. The well-being of almost every family depends on the size, regularity, and timeliness of its receipt. At the same time, violations of the labor rights of citizens are most often latent in nature, since many employees fear that the employer will begin to harass them due to their appeal to the state control (supervision), prosecutor’s office or court. In this regard, the author, on the basis of the study, proves the need to use various sources of information, information systems, and electronic document management capabilities to more effectively expose violations of labor rights of citizens. The paper analyzes measures to improve the interaction of the prosecutor’s office with state authorities, local governments, business entities. The author formulated proposals for organizing the interaction of the prosecutor with trade unions and commissions on labor disputes in the field of protecting the labor rights of workers. Based on a comparative analysis of prosecutorial supervision over observance of the labor rights of citizens and other types of state control (supervision) in this area, the author puts forward proposals for improving the organization of the activities of the prosecutor’s office and the state labor inspectorate. In addition, the work focuses on the prevention of violations of labor rights of citizens, as well as prosecutorial and supervisory support of activities to eliminate identified violations in the labor law sphere by authorized entities.
