The article reviews studies of modern trends in the development of strategic management, approaches to the formation of a company’s strategy, as well as their evolution with the development of management science. The main methodological approaches to the definition of the concept and essence of strategic management as the main part of the organization’s activity are singled out, the distinctive features of modern concepts of strategic management, as well as development trends of strategic management in modern economic conditions, are demonstrated. It is noted that at present, organizations of all levels and areas of production require significant changes to adapt to new situations and operations. The concept of modern strategic management lies in the context of a carefully formulated integrated strategy, and modern strategic management in conditions of economic and political instability can significantly help an organization gain a competitive advantage and separation from other market players, increase market share and create forecasts for future development when using a combination of various tools that help you make the most accurate and informed decisions. It is revealed that only companies with an effective modern strategic management system will have the right culture, tools, structure, technology and personnel to successfully cope with constant scenario changes and, at the same time, strengthen their vision of the future. Such companies will be able not only to maintain their position in the market, but also significantly outperform competitors in several ways. It is demonstrated that the transition to modern strategic management requires a clear understanding of what it means to optimize the production process. |
