The article deals with the main modern trends in Russian higher educations, which include the digitalization of the educational process, increasing its individual orientation, focusing on the formation of not only professional, but also supra-professional competencies, soft skills, which increase the adaptability of graduates and their demand in the labor market after graduation. The authors substantiate the relevance of designing and implementing campus courses in the educational process in the projection of current trends in the development of Russian higher education. In order to study the prevalence of campus courses as a tool for forming soft skills among students, a study of the experience of educational process organization by leading universities of our country was conducted. It was found that the availability of campus courses is not widespread, although the leading universities have already accumulated considerable experience in their development and use in the educational process. The specific features of campus courses as academic disciplines are highlighted and recommendations for their development are offered. The importance of developing approaches to assessing the effectiveness of the formation of supra-professional competences in students is substantiated. A model of the process of formation and assessment of soft skills among university students has been developed, taking into account the threeyear positive experience of the FGBOU HE “Novosibirsk State University of Economics and Management” in the development of meta-competences of its students. This model includes five stages that allow taking into account both the capabilities and needs of a particular university and best practices for the formation of soft skills in both academic and business environments. Based on the model of the process of formation and evaluation of soft skills and taking into account the specifics of NSUEM as an entrepreneurial university, the authors designed a competence-based model of soft skills of NSUEM, which reveals the university’s approach to the filiation of students’ supra-professional competences. This model has been successfully tested at NSUEM in teaching bachelor students of all areas of training, which confirms its effectiveness and practical applicability. |
