“MONEY OF THE FUTURE”: ASSEMBLY OF EDUCATIONAL MATERIAL FOR STUDENTS OF ECONOMIC UNIVERSITIES

The article considers the functions of money in the conditions of total digitalization and the development of artificial intelligence systems. The purpose of the study is to create basic scenarios for the evolution of money for further discussion with students of economic universities. The authors analyze the functions of money in various spheres of society. The existence of the sphere of money as an autonomous system is stated, similar to the spheres of culture and science. The fundamental role of economic subjectivity fixed in legal systems is emphasized. It is noted that the extension of the concept of “financial entity” to artificial intelligence systems will lead to the capture of the monetary sphere by these systems due to more advanced algorithms, speed and global level of interaction. The paper focuses on the fact that an important phenomenon in the life of modern society is the integration of the game into the economic sphere as a special type of activity. At the same time, the resource potential of the game as a pedagogical technology is used by the authors of the study in working with students of the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation. According to the results of the study, two forecasts are made for discussion in the student audience, differing in assumptions about the presence or absence of the status of an economic entity in artificial intelligence systems. In the first variant (artificial intelligence as a subject), humanity disappears in the course of a smooth evolution earlier than money. In the second variant (artificial intelligence as a tool), there is an evolutionary division of the function of money as a technical means of measurement, which is used in a two-circuit economy when buying / selling products of activity (goods, services, etc.), as well as a status indicator (digital shoulder straps). The resulting multidisciplinary assembly of various factors is an essential resource for organizing an active educational process in economic universities of the Russian Federation.
