The article deals with the problem of forming a cognitive image of a study group as a collective subject of the educational process. The aim of the study is to build a prototype of such an image. The author’s “4C” approach (collective, cognitive, configurator, convergent) was used. The student group as a whole was considered as an expert whose tasks were to assess the characteristics of two types: eye-measuring, allowing for accurate verification, and psychological, the assessment of which was compared with the assessments of other experts. In the first case, the collective assessment was formed by averaging individual assessments, in the second — by voting, with a majority decision. The theoretical basis was the methods of mathematical statistics, reflexive analysis by V. A. Lefebvre, as well as the concept of psychological types by C. G. Jung interpreted by I. Myers and K. Briggs. Student groups assessed the size of the UFO mock-up, the attitude towards humanoids, and also analyzed the psychological profiles of four characters from the “38 Parrots” cartoon. The results allow us to recommend theoretical methods based on the works of V. A. Lefebvre and C. G. Jung, for the formation of cognitive images of collective subjects. The importance of the means of art, in particular, cognitive graphics, textbooks in the “educational manga” format, which mobilize the sensory abilities of students in understanding the educational material, is noted. As examples, the international project “Dance Your PhD”, the detective series “Numb3rs”, in which each story is accompanied by an interpretation of a certain mathematical model, the film “Moneyball”, which describes the process of creating and using a mathematical model of the economic efficiency of a sports team, are considered. The participation of students in the relevant experiments additionally contributes to the assimilation of the material of the studied disciplines. |
