The article studies the development of stress resistance in hockey players aged 13—14. It is important for hockey players to resist various stressful situations in the game. They may occur due to rule violations, errors, external factors, etc. They lead to various negative situations, for example, deletions, failure to perform their functions, etc. The article discusses the features of stress, its stages, mechanisms of counteractions. It analyzes counteractions to stress, ways to restore normal activity. It is shown in what period it is advisable to master the skills of self-regulation. In the age group of 13—14 years old athletes the emphasis should be made on forming psychological stability and reliability of pupils, as well as on familiarising children with the techniques of mental self-regulation. The analysis of scientific sources allowed us to identify a number of conditions for the formation of stress resistance in hockey players aged 13—14. It is necessary to pay more attention to the emotional state of the athlete, using techniques to assess it. It is proposed to teach athletes methods of getting out of a stressful state, analyze the causes of deterioration of sports results not only from the side of physical fitness, but also taking into account their emotional state. It is advisable to conduct practical classes that promote the study and development of self-regulation skills, arrange meetings with top-class athletes to transfer experience and knowledge to the younger generation, in the training process, create competitive situations more often. It is recommended to build a trusting relationship between the coach and each athlete. These provisions form the basis of the Stress Management program, which was developed and implemented in the hockey section classes. To identify the effectiveness of the program, a diagnosis of the stress state of young hockey players was carried out before purposeful work on the development of stress resistance and after its completion. The results show that the stress resistance of athletes aged 13—14 has increased, which proves the effectiveness of the program and the classes conducted |
