PROFESSIONAL INITIATIVE OF STUDENTS IN INTERNAL TRAINING CONDITIONS

At the present stage of the scientific and technological progress and the high dynamics of social processes, in all areas there is a growing need for specialists capable of proactive actions and other manifestations of the personal quality of initiative, and implemented in the conditions of internal corporate training for professional activities, increasing its effectiveness and updating professional development. The article examines the concept of initiative, integrated with an understanding of internal corporate training and professional activity of an enterprise specialist. An analysis of domestic and foreign publications on the issues of initiative and professional development is carried out. The relevance of the study is due to the contradiction that lies in the lack of a definition of a student’s professional initiative in internal corporate training and existing research on this topic affecting adults who realize themselves in professional activities. The lack of developments in definitions creates a gap in technologies, means and methods for forming the studied personal quality of students, threatening the fulfillment of a mass social order. The article examines the areas of initiative as a personal quality in an adult and professionalism as an integrative quality of a student in internal corporate training. The place of the personal quality of student initiative in achieving professionalism is determined. A contradiction is identified caused by the definition of internal corporate training, goal setting based on the definition and the composition of the components of initiative related to the student’s personal value attitudes. The revealed contradiction is proposed to be resolved in line with andragogical and anthropological approaches. An attempt is made to synthesize the definition of a student’s professional initiative based on the integrative essence of the concept, coming from various fields of knowledge, taking into account the results of previously conducted research.
