Professionals report that the physical fitness profile
of the majority of cadets and police staffs does not contribute to
the effective solution of official tasks related to the physical fitness
profile of police staffs and cadets. Current scientific research
shows that physical fitness profile of a significant part of police
staffs does not meet the optimal parameters. According to professionals,
the problem of insufficient physical fitness profile of police
staffs is associated with shortcomings in the professional training
of future police officers in universities of the MIA of Russia and
police academies. This article is devoted to the search for the effective
methods of organizing the physical training routine of police
staffs and cadets, contributing to the effective performance of official
tasks, related to the physical fitness profile of police staffs.
The data were searched in international science databases:
MEDLINE (PubMed), Cochrane library and Google Scholar. The
collected data were assessed by the authors and external professionals
using a special tool for assessing the methodological quality
of scientific studies — the PEDro scale. The methodology of
evaluation and analysis of the collected data allowed us to identify
seven studies that meet all the requirements of data retrieval. Some
studies were qualitative literature reviews; most of the scientific
works contained the results of original research. The investigations
were by experts from Brazil, the United States of America,
the United Arabian Emirates, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Bosnia and
Herzegovina, Poland and the Netherlands. The analysis of the data
indicates that the routine of physical training of police staffs and
cadets should include regular fitness tests, programs of strength
and functional training, and fitness programs that promote the
development of flexibility and mobility. |
