The purpose of the work is to present the current
structure and content of teacher training programs for working
with young children`s families in the higher education system.
In the course of the study, based on a review and study of educational
and methodological materials of universities presented
in the open access, the main professional educational and work programs of disciplines in the two-level system of higher education
in the fields of training “Pedagogical education”, “Psychological
and pedagogical education” and “Special (defectological)
education” on the problems of supporting a child’s family
were analyzed from an early age on the part of teachers. The websites
of 94 higher educational institutions from 9 federal districts
of the Russian Federation, including the Republic of Crimea,
were studied. The authors conclude that there is insufficient representation
of content units in educational programs aimed at
developing future teachers’ competences to work with parents of
young children. The content resource of personnel training in this
aspect has the field of training “Special (defectological) education”.
The priority of early assistance in special correctional education
and the appeal of higher education to the training of future
specialists in this field are defined as a key concept. The potential
and limitations of the higher education system in the field of
training teachers who are ready to work with a family of young
children are identified. The understanding about the professional
training of students to work with young children, about the possibility
of higher education system to prepare future teachers to
work with the family of a young child is deepened. The materials
of the article can be used by the teaching staff in the development
of educational programs of different levels, as well as to interest
managers and administrators of preschool educational organizations.
The data presented are important for future teachers of
early childhood development. |
