The article presents the results of a study of new
opportunities to improve the quality of teaching project management
to master’s students majoring in Management. Despite the
fact that the issues of teaching project management at the university
have been considered in the literature, the relevance of
the study of this problem does not decrease. This is due, first of
all, to the constant changes in educational standards, increasing
requirements of employers and the labor market. The proposed
concept of the project to redesign the course “Project Management
in Professional Activity” is based on a combination of diagnostic
and systemic approaches to its development, i.e. identifying
and assessing the level of basic training of graduates of various
bachelor’s programs in the field of project activities for the
subsequent implementation of a systemic approach to studying
the theory, methods and practice of project management, taking
into account the results of the input diagnostic survey. The direct
target audience is students of master’s programs in economic and
management fields of training, since their professional activities
require knowledge and competences in the field of project development
and implementation, team-building and management,
organization and motivation of performers and partners. The
results of the project are important for expanding the professional
competences of the course teachers, as well as for employers. The
implementation of the project will allow to objectively increase
the level of key competences of young specialists in the field of
project management. The main expected results are an increase
in the level of professional knowledge, skills and competences of
students in the field of project management, capable of organizing
and motivating a team of performers to achieve project tasks
in the conditions of objective and subjective limitations in various
areas of business. |
