ORGANIZATION OF EFFECTIVE TEACHER - PARENT INTERACTION IN PRIMARY SCHOOLS

Annotation: The article is devoted to the search for innovative forms, methods and conditions for effective cooperation between a family and the primary school in matters of education, as well as the development of a project for organizing joint activities in the teacher – parent interaction. The relevance of the study is due to the increase of socio-psychological anxiety, deterioration of physical health of modern children. In connection with these aspects there is an urgent need to search for modern approaches to training teachers for effective interaction with families. The purpose of the article is to identify the attitude of parents of primary school students to teachers, to develop and substantiate a pedagogical project for organizing joint activities in the teacher – parent interaction theoretically. The research methodology is based on the provisions of the competence- based, personality-activity and cultural approaches. The concepts of effective cooperation and of a competent parent are considered; the criteria and indicators of the level of formation of primary school teachers’ competence in building joint activities in the teacher – parent interaction are disclosed. The results presented in the article allow us to assert that the organization of interaction between the school and the students’ families, the search for innovative forms, methods and conditions for effective teacher – parent interaction require modern theoretical and applied research that meets the requirements of the time. The pedagogical project on organizing effective teacher – parent interaction will contribute to increase the level of competence of junior schoolchildren’s parents in matters of upbringing, and will make the process of children’s life more adaptive.
