Pedagogical suggestion in sports practice
is considered as a system of verbal forms of influence on
the psychoemotional sphere of the athlete, carried out by
the coach in the process of training and competition activities
and aimed at the effective realization of goal-setting
tasks. The methodological basis of the suggestion method
in sports practice is the theory of speech activity based on
the principles of psycholinguistic coding. The study involved
26 young kayakers (aged 12-14 years) studying at the Youth
Sports School. The control group consisted of 12 athletes.
The experiment group consisted of 14 athletes. Both groups
trained according to a single program approved by the
educational department of the sports school in accordance
with the Federal Standard. Technological techniques of
pedagogical suggestion were introduced into the educational
cycle of the experimental group. The experiment lasted
12 months (2022–2023).
Pedagogical suggestion was carried out by the trainer
according to a specially developed program aimed at maintaining
the emotional stability and motivational sphere of the participants
in the experiment. The program consisted of several
goal-setting stages, including a system of suggestive techniques
based on a model of the needs of young athletes such as support
for the emotional and volitional sphere of young rowers at the
stage of their sports formation.
The purpose of the work is to determine the effectiveness of
the influence of deliberate pedagogical suggestion as a means of
psychological influence on a number of personal qualities of young
kayak rowers aged 12-14 years. It is shown that during the one–
year training cycle, young rowers under the influence of sports and
educational activities, including elements of pedagogical suggestion,
undergo a number of qualitative changes in the emotional,
volitional and motivational spheres, which indicates the activation
of adaptive, psychological and physiological mechanisms. |
