The article discusses the need for the formation
of flexible skills in high school students. The results of the study
are presented, within the framework of which flexible skills were
identified, which are most in demand for school youth, in the
opinion of schoolchildren themselves, their parents, teachers of
general education institutions, universities and colleges. These
flexible skills include: the ability to work in a team, emotional
intelligence, creative thinking, self-education, critical thinking.
The subject of the article is the potential of student self-government
bodies — the district council of high school students
of the Verkhny Isetsky district “RUSSiA”, Ekaterinburg (hereinafter
— the RSS “RUSSiA”). The article presents the results of the implementation of
the research objectives: analyzing the activities of the RSS
“RUSSiA” for the formation of flexible skills in schoolchildren,
developing the RSS “RUSSiA” program “Formation
of flexible skills in high school students” (hereinafter
referred to as the Program) and evaluating its effectiveness.
This program was developed in several stages: determination
of the rating of priority flexible skills, analysis of
the activities of student self-government bodies in a number
of regions for the formation of flexible skills, formation
of modules of the program for the formation of flexible skills,
selection of methods to determine the formation of flexible
skills among high school students. The authors propose
a program that includes three main blocks: informative,
interactive and practical.
The article presents the results of the study to determine the
level of formation of the identified flexible skills “before” and
“after” the implementation of the developed program, such as
emotional intelligence, critical and creative thinking. It shows
an increase in the indicators for all the studied flexible skills.
The authors, using the methodology of D. Kirkpatrick, make a
conclusion about the effectiveness of the program implementation. |
