Acrobatic rock’n’roll is a complex coordination sport. It combines elements of acrobatics, gymnastics and dance. The basis of rock’n’roll is active leg movements, namely flexion and extension in the knee, ankle, hip joints, and also includes jumps, hops, quick movements and movements with a change in direction. Consequently, an insufficient level of flexibility and mobility in the joints, a low level of coordination and strength abilities can lead to injuries. Therefore, rock’n’roll is a fairly traumatic sport and requires excellent physical and coordination training from the athlete. In this regard, at the stages of initial training, much attention should be paid to pedagogical control over the level of development of specific qualities affecting the state of the articular-ligamentous and muscular apparatus, since most often in acrobatic rock’n’roll injuries occur in the ankle and knee joints. As a rule, they are cumulative, mainly as a result of inappropriate load. The subject of the work was the development of preparatory exercises to strengthen the muscles of the lower extremities, abdomen and back, to improve joint mobility in athletes of the first year of study. At the same time, special attention was paid to the foot and movements in the ankle joint, since the condition of not only the knee and hip joints, but the entire musculoskeletal system depends on its stability on the one hand and mobility on the other. The implementation of the developed experimental program made it possible to reduce the injury rates and prepare the musculoskeletal system of young athletes for further complex technical elements of acrobatic rock’n’roll. |
