The article is devoted to the problem of preparing future primary school teachers to ensure the social integration of students, which is a prerequisite for effective professional activity of a teacher in modern educational conditions. The relevance of the research is due to the need for comprehensive training of future teachers, which involves the formation of personal and professional competences, as well as the development of effective methods of interaction with family and children’s public associations. The research material was data on the preparation of future primary school teachers for social integration, collected through a survey of 1,250 students and 430 teachers of Russian universities (2023-2024) and official statistics from the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, in order to identify the level of readiness, key problems and recommendations for improving inclusive education. As a result of the discussion, the authors identified key problems, including a lack of practical experience working with children with disabilities, limited school resources and insufficient development of personal qualities of future teachers. At the same time, the surveys have shown that 58% of students and 71% of teachers have a positive attitude towards inclusion, although students’ awareness of its principles is only 41%. Comprehensive measures are proposed to overcome these problems, including increased practice in inclusive classrooms and specialized courses. In conclusion, the professional training of future primary school teachers for social integration is a complex process that combines theoretical knowledge, practical skills and personal development, contributing to improving the quality of education.
