The article is devoted to substantiating the importance of methodological support for working with parents (legal representatives) in the context of modern education. It is emphasized that supporting family education, developing responsible parenting, and strengthening family values is a strategic priority for the country’s development and one of the key ideological lines of state policy. The family is a reliable stronghold and foundation for the education of the person of the future as a representative of the unique Russian civilization. The authors consider the interaction between the family and the educational organization as a specially organized and pedagogically supported process of implementing the directions of activity set by new challenges of education. Methodological support enables the implementation of successful practices and the realization of innovative methods of interaction through the organization of motivational, substantive, and organizational-technological conditions. The article analyzes the diagnostics of deficiencies of parents (legal representatives) in the context of generalizing the results of the work of the service for the provision of psychological, pedagogical, methodological and advisory assistance – OGPU.RU, as well as a survey of parents in the Orenburg region. The survey confirmed the importance of parental education, the willingness of parents (legal representatives) to participate in interaction, and the need to implement information-content and value-communicative directions of methodological support. The authors developed the “Interaction Navigator” program, aimed at developing an open community between families and educational organizations and establishing productive relationships. The proposed program promotes an increase in internal positive motivation for the development of cooperation, enrichment with new knowledge through parental education and information, and active involvement of parents through regulated and informal forms of interaction, focusing on open and trusting relationships, and updating the nature of interaction. The ideas presented are of practical importance for managers, teachers, and methodologists of educational organizations for building a successful model of interaction.
